    Hi! I just had my leaky power steering (rack and pinion oil seal) fixed. now, steering feels damn heavy. according to the mechanic, this is normal and should improve more or less in 2 weeks. is this true? i'm worried that other parts started to become faulty (pump, belt, etc). pls help.

    Did your mechanic use replacement or original parts?

    replacement parts. he did a good job fixing the leak, btw. only issue now is the heavy steering.
