    Do the Mitsubishi 4D56 Diesel Engines used in the Adventure, L200, Strada and Pajero gen 2 have Exhaust Gas Recirculation?

    EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation. Blowby gasses in the cylinder head are passed onto the intake manifold to be part of the intake mixture.

    As far as i can recall....

    For gas engines, this is done to lower pollution levels (I think ;) ) For diesels, wala lang hehehe. Inert naman yung blowby gases e (ng diesel ha).
