Baka pang 4d56 lang talaga ito na TDIC. CRDi ba yang sa inyo sir KCboy?
No its not designed for this AFAIK. vgt na ito eh at ECU controlled yung mechanicals ng turbo that gives the boost in a gradual manner as per the other threads discussed here.Fasten your seatbelt! Or else...Driven To Thrill!

merong performance chips connected sa MAF sensor ng 3.2 strada..
dont know the exact term, once connected sa MAF sensor yung performance
chips nasa safe mode lang ang reading ng ecu pero sa boost gauge it goes up 20 psi on neutral...
pag hindi gagalawin yung connections ng MAF sensor, up to 5 psi lang yung boost on neutral..

thought about installing a manual boost controller but decided in the last minute to abandon the idea, i have an aftermarket chip installed so power increase is significant but did the washer modification and the boost gauge still registered 14psi at max boost, 3rd gear..

good day mga sirs,
after reading this thread, i installed 3 g.i. washers/bolt on my 4d56 tdic pajero..
yes, a very responsive engine..before, i feel the turbo kicks in at around 2500 rpm..now, power difference felt at 2200 rpm or even at 2000 rpm (depends on load)..
accelerates smoothly at d na maugong engine at 3000 rpm..
tnx mga sirs for this great mod..

also tried running at 3200 rpm, thats about 100-110 kph at 5th gear..dati, lakas ng ugong ng makina, ngayon, swabe lang..
but, i seldom run my engine at high rpms at long period of time ( so as the manual stated)
..normal cruising range ko lang is 2000-2500 rpm..(60-80 kph)
just installed this mod so that more power is available, only when i badly need it
..(ie, during tight overtaking) ..turbo lag is noticeable shorten.
but more than that, im pretty contented on my ride's stock power output.
btw, i also noticed a faster rise in engine coolant temperature during high speed running.. (max temp pointer, just slightly below half..running at 3200 rpm/5th gear/105-110kph)
kung sa bagay, dati na walang washers, umiinit din ng ganun kapag hinataw but at a slower rate lang, kc slower dn acceleration nya..
engine response,d na kelangan diinan masyado accelerator pedal, even at low rpms, gaan ng arangkada nya..
thanks again to the brilliant people who initiated/shared this mod to the public..
God bless the tsikot community.

btw, regarding my fuel comsumption..
before the washer mod, i used to get 10.6 kpl average.
after installing the washer mod, i just get 9.6 kpl average..with the same route..
lumakas kain nya,
just sharing..

Hi guys, updated ko lang ang thread na to. Kakabasa ko lang kagabi nito and ginawa ko na din sa pajero ko. 3 washer each, same bolt pa din ginamit ko. Well napapangiti na lang ako habang nag tetest drive kanina. Hohoho. Tama very responsive at tumulin nga.
OT: Next mod ko is Air filter, kakalimutan ko na ang snorkel since mahal at di naman ako lulusong sa ilog. :D Ano po isusugest nyo K&N, Simota, HKS or Subzero? Thanks

I used to use hurricane.. But i reckon using paper element..
Dont use hurricane.. It will foul your maf sensor fast
Yung extra AUX Fan is useful sa mga naka montero. Mag improve daw yung AC system since may extra...
