KABOOOOOM!!!!!!!, over boast. better install boast gauge to monitor how much boast you have. Turbo timer is also advisable and always check intercooler otherwise your engine will also say KABOOOOM!!!!

You can try water/alcohol injection for some good safe power. Best bang for the buck modification for a turbo diesel.

so far, wala pa namang kaboom. I don't think it will come to that. I think PHESWHHH!!!! OR POFFFF!!! Either the gasket has leaked or the turbo has failed...

me, just recently experienced the intercooler pipe that gave-in after overboosting +2psi. it went poofffsssss, then a strong whistle sound came off from the turbine...

long term effect? I believe the lifespan of the engine and the turbo COULD be shorten... parang overclocking ng cpu.

Tanong ko lang mga sirs if there is really some gains in doing this?

won't the intake suck hot air radiating from the engine?

therefore, put the washers at A,B,D&E.

about the autogauge. ok lang yan brand. yan din ang gamit ko. but I didn't like it, after a year ng gamit, nag fafade na yung sticker sa loob. babad kasi sa init yung gauge.

may isang brand yung sana bibinili namin, it has a pro racing look but hindi namin kinuha kasi .bars, but I realized, we should have got that one. ang dali lang naman e convert then memorize your .bar limits.

just make sure you get a boost/vaccum gauge, its better to fully know your turbo is going boost all the time, not vac on occasions.
hehe... di ko na malayan... may mali sa pic. the "compressor housing" is supposed to be intake manifold...

So mga sirs can you guys confirm that it is indeed advisable to do this mod? (will removing the plastic tube that connects the air filter housing to the fender wall)

also I have read a mod were in the owner increased the size of his exhaust pipes and did not use mufflers just straight pipes up to the end. is this also advisable for more HP?

please share your thoughts on both these mods
