guys just to inform you, i did it this afternoon on my gen 2 pajero. i put 4 washers per bolt (new longer bolt) and with my friend's boost guage, the highest boost reading i got was .9 bar which is just at 13 psi. tamang tama na sigor yon.

parang pwede pa atang gawin ng 5 washers and most likely this will put the max boost at just under 14 psi. di ko na ginawa kasi i don't think anyone on this site has done 5 on each side and so ayaw kong mauna (heheheh)

andy, did you get the stock boost reading?

yup, based on the boost guage, stock max reading was at .725 bar and that translates to 10.5 psi. so technically, i just went up by 2.5 psi maximum. does that make sense?

am i the only one who went 4 washers? i hope not

i'll keep you guys posted kung sumabog ba makina ko or hindi. hanap na rin ako ng sariling boost guage ko so i can return this one to my friend na.

guys, do you think 4 washers is too much? .9 bar talaga or 13 psi ang max reading kanina, nag-long trip ako (40 minutes). i monitored my temp and di naman umakyat above the normal na just below 1/2

sir otep, pajerokid, last year papala nag simula eto eh! hangang ngayon di pa tapos. hehehe! masarap talaga pag nasa uso ka no! puro kayo naka pajero kaya pwede niyo gawin parereho ang mga mods niyo! ako hindi naiiba at ayokong galawin baka masira wala nanaman mabiling parts! (salamat MAZDA) hehehe! pero tama ba yung nabasa ko kanina na sa 3000 rpm mga 90kph lang ang andar niyo? kasi ako sa 3000 rpm nasa 110 120 ang speed ko. pero sa totoo lang parang mahina naman ako sa akyatan siguro ibang iba yung diferential ba yon natin?

me last year pa naka 4 wshers courtesy of otep, so far wala pa din problem. lumakas talaga ang hatak, u can outrun a 4m40 matic pajero, city or highway.

deedee91874, depende naman sa gearing at weight ng auto yan.

Alam naman natin na iba ang bigat ng Pajero compared to other 4D56 powered vehicles like the Strada and Adventure. Besides, the Pajero's gears are biased to pull rather than to go fast.
