SIR MANGYAN : Sir just my opinion but ingat muna sa mga modification read your message about your clutch problem. Even if they are not related with the engine modification alam mo naman ang kasa pipilitin gawin ikaw ang may nakasira kaysa defect pag may mods :mrgreen:

Si AutoXer may binebenta. PM him na lang. A shop called 2211 in Malate also sells and installs MBCs but cheaper. Unfortunately, wala na akong contact numbers nila.

Pwedeng pwede yan pareho lang naman ang mga engines natin, ask Kimpoy, he has a strada wala din naman syang intercooler, and he was able to do the mod.

Tama si pajerokid, Its far cheaper with this kind of mod and basically the same din ang outcome, kung masira man ang actuator can mo nakapag tanong na ako, 4000+ lang ang brandnew compared pa din sa boost controller worth 8000.
Ang boost guage kinakabit lang sa hoses from the turbo going to the actuator can, your just gonna tap a hose going into the boost gauge to monitor how much boost your engine is giving.

Bogart, most likely pwede but you'll have to watch the boost a little more as your having no intercooler brings down the cooling efficiency to lower levels then that of the ones with an intercooler (meaning that you wont be able to up the boost as much as those with intercoolers).

Tama kayo, mga sir. I'll heed ur advices. In fact, binalik ko na ako sa stock at inalis ko na ang modification sa actuator can. I tried it for almost five days. Nakakapanibago!!!! Parang nasakal bigla ang engine ko.

I hope yellow, pajerokid, et al, don't mind my posting para ma up ang thread na ito for the benefit of others (unless talagang itutuloy ninyo sya as a secret) pero I have been monitoring this even long before, when I was still a guest several months back. Sinunod ko ang lahat 3 months back. I got stainless washers, 4 each muna ang pinakabit ko. Noticeable talaga ang power difference. And there was around an 8-10% improvement in fuel economy. After 4 full tanks on 4 washers, kinabitan ko yung 5 stainless, power difference was not really noticeable pero di ko naman kasi hinahataw ang paj ko. But I noticed a further improvement in fuel consumption. Previously 5.3-5.5 km/liter lang, naging 5.5-5.8. With the 5th washer, I am doing 6 up na. Kung sakasakali sabi ninyo mababa pa rin ang fuel consumption, parati ako sa trapik. Thanks so much to yellow, otep, pajerokid, etc.
Nagtataka lang ako yung mga pics of the step by step procedure, di na lumalabas, unlike before. Bakit kaya?

by the way, before I eventually went ahead with it, I asked yung mitsu casa advisor na kaibigan ko. Maski siya they have done the same concept daw pero what they did was to bend the rod going towards the actuator. Mahirap kasi di mo matantsa ang degree of bending. Sabi niya with this one, mas ok kasi measured based on the thickness of the washers.
