March 9th, 2003 01:06 AM #91Nakakasira po ba ng makina ang sobrang boost?
But we're still running a relatively mild boost increase so I'm not worrying so much.
I think I will break my tranny (due to the off-road antics) first before I break my engine.

simple lang yan my friend. Punta kang banawe or try to contact djerms (alam ko may binebenta syang simota). Yung kit for the corolla fits the pajero. dude simple lang, take out the old air filter assembly tapos replace with the simota kit. kaya lang, you need a 3.5" (i think, forgot na e) tube to put inside the turbo intake hose para kapitan ng Simota.
Yakang Yaka mo yan chong! Philips screwdriver lang katapat nyan!

oo nga pala promdiboy, yung maliit na "air filter" is actually a crankcase breather... palabas yung gases hindi papasok..
In my opinion kasi, mas ok na i-vent yung blowby gases derecho sa atmosphere kesa ipasok uli sa turbo. lalo na strict sa emissions ngayon. Kung medyo poor condition ang 4d56tdic mo, you will notice na maraming oil sa intercooler. ganun nangyari sakin so i was forced to overhaul my engine.

sir pajerokid

The intercooler also performs better since heat is better dissipated if no oil layer exists between its aluminum body and the air being cooled inside.
Iba talaga diesel engine compared to gas (UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR). This is my first diesel and i actually like its practicality and low end torque.
Ang parating sagot sa akin ng mga local diesel experts dito samin with regards to those questions ay..... "HIGH COMPRESSION KASI DIESEL EH".
for example....
A: "HIGH COMPRESSION KASI DIESEL EH".
A: "HIGH COMPRESSION KASI DIESEL EH".
A: "HIGH COMPRESSION KASI DIESEL EH".
you get the drift?
