Like me I bought a bighorn, trooper kung tawagin dito. Sabi nga ni garyq kailangan responsible ka kung bibili ka ng converted vehicle dahil buhay mo nakasalalay dyan kailang you do a lot of research and study the technical side of the vehicle. Ako bago ako bumili naglibot muna ako at nagsearch at study the vehicle technical specs.

People should also take a good look at the fibreglass dashboard of these subic cars, which may look like a perfect copy of the original, but will splinter and give you multiple stab wounds in a crash.

second the motion lang ako sa mga may converted vehicles... 4 times na ako nag long distance travel sa converted 3 door pajero ko not the jr. but the pajero mini. So far so good it's still working fine... and happy pa rin ako sa performance niya.. siguro may mga ups and downs konti kasi i have to change the timing belts and steering just to be sure na safe siya kaya tiyaga and ask for comments from the tsikot peeps talaga ginawa ko.. pero decision mo yan pre... it's your money.. kung gusto mo talaga ng Good to Go Car then i suggest go for the local 2nd hand cars...

    Goodluck

My converted unit is TOYOTA Estima Emina VAN 1995 model in immaculate condition.
    2TZFZE (Super Charge) 16V DOHC 2.4L Gas. .

Been using it for a year now but not a single problem.

Most people are now aware of the basic facts about Japanese used cars:
Japanese cars made for the demanding domestic market are always designed to higher specifications than export versions. While in Japan, they were well looked after and driven at restricted speed on excellent roads.
Nevertheless, due to Japan's unique social & economic constraints, used vehicles depreciate faster here than anywhere else and can be purchased at amazingly low prices.
    Superb automobiles, beautiful countryside and
Unfortunately, congested urban areas, overpriced toll roads and tight holiday schedules take most of the fun out of long distance car travel. This explains why most Japanese used vehicles usually come with low mileages.
An efficient rail and subway transportation system is always favored for daily commuting, and the SHINKANSEN (bullet train) takes care of more serious traveling needs.

Consequently, having been through less use & abuse, the overall condition for cars of similar age will be considerably better in Japan than in most other countries.
Tuned-up performance units & SUV of tremendous capabilities are never used to their potential and routinely spend an entire life in extended neighborhood use and proudly displayed on courtyards.

Strictly enforced speed limits of 30km/h in urban areas, 50km/h on highways and 80 to 100km/h on toll roads, help produce a pool of low mileage vehicles. Vandalism & car theft being virtually unknown in Japan, alarm systems are extremely rare on Japanese cars.
On the other hand, features such as power steering, windows & mirrors, climate control, car stereo, ABS and airbags are increasingly considered standard equipment.
