June 6th, 2005 10:44 AM #1Hello MACoys,
I'm thinking of making a cargo net for my ride. Many a times, my family and I take off on the weekends and pack heavily. I've had numerous instances when I open my rear door and things start falling off - 6gallon water bottles, bags and other stuff. Also, sometimes the items at the back would hit the inside of the back door and I can already count the number of dings on the inside of my back door.
I've started with bungee cords and those unidirectional locks (from key chains that you can buy from SM at ~P30 a pair). Although it served its purpose fine, It still has large open spaces that I feel a net would better address. I think I can still make use of the uni-directional locks and nylon rope to make the net.
Have any of you done something similar? Or were you able to purchase a reasonably cheap cargo net somewhere?
Regards,
Rafraf

Sa ACE hardware meron 2 klase, yung isa almost P600 (ok sana, parang made of bungee cords yung net kaya lang ang mahal naman)... yung isa P399, pero maliit lang.

June 30th, 2005 04:22 PM #8meron na ako nabili sa Concorde... ~P350+ lang (vs yung P600 sa ACE)... size is wide and just right for the back (tail gate area) of the Adventure. I can hook it on the pilars and fixtures of the benches. Wala na mahuhulog na gamit kapag bukas ng tailgate. yahoo!!!
