if yan ang price ng FM, it is a very good buy IF it is very well maintained also. You can ask a mechanic to check. Alot money still also when you purchase the 2nd hand car for parts na need palitan. Syempre mas maganda and kampante ka na if napaayos mo na agad lahat if merong mga problema.
Also better if you do yung routine PMS and palit lahat ng fluids para sure na sure.
Go na yan boss :D

diba nasa 1.2mil lang price nito nung brand new? its only 4x2 and i can still remember that aside from the pajero fieldmaster, mitsubishi philippines were also selling the pajero shogun version. sabay pa ata dun sa 1st gen boxy montero sport.
imo, doubtful na mabenta ang 5 year old fieldmaster at 800-900k pricetag, kasi makakabili narin ng 2h crdi suvs at that price like the fortuner, which is what people are clamoring for these days. and yes the owner is loaded, at least i think he is.
anyway about the a/t, i would like to know if totoo ba na 1 way of testing if the a/t is still ok is to park the vehicle on an incline tapos floor the accelerator pedal, then on the same incline just push the accelerator pedal halfway, kung almost the same time lang ang nakukuha ng vehicle ibig sabihin the a/t is already gone? i think ive read it somewhere, clarification lang kung totoo pls. thanks

640k? Pajero na 5 years old, local pa? I'm doubtful. But kung walang problems yan, say palit gulong lang, steal na yan.

Nope, it's around 1.8M. Actually, ang Pajero FM is classified sa level ng Montero Sport ngayon at tama ka, kasabay nito yun 3rd Gen Pajero BK (Shogun ang tawag sa Pajero sa UK and Aussie). Pajero FM is classified as Gen 2.5 Pajero.
Sa totoo lang, if you will try to look at car ads, ang 5 year FM is around that price, 800-900k. Ang mga nasa 600k na FM is model 04 down. So tama yun sabi ng nakararami na good buy na ang FM na nakita mo. Yun nga lang, you need to check it thoroughly dahil nga parang too good to be true ang presyo.
Pero kung talagang malaki ang duda mo, eh go for the Mirage nalang.
Mind you, first time mo lang bang magdridrive ng A/T if ever?

not really. ive driven an automatic before pero hindi sa akin. pajero din yun pero its the 3 door type from subic type 2.5l 4d56, i felt nabibigatan ang sasakyan umarangkada but the owner told me that may sira na ang kanyang turbo.
ito pa isang pampagulo, 2009 crv 3rd gen 4x2 manual at 700k although di ko gaano ito kino consider kasi i know malakas sa gas and also ang odo almost hitting 70k na, and i think for a 3 year old vehicle mataas na yun. anyway sample lang kasi medyo naguguluhan narin ako kung alin ang good deal or hindi. ano ba ang priority na consideration? ang model year or ang odo ng sasakyan? like the pajero is 5 years old but still has 65k while the crv is only 3 years old pero 70k na ang takbo. would you rather buy an older car with the lesser odo reading or a newer car with higher odo? sorry medyo na off topic, im just curious. thanks

*silvertec, glowplugs OEM/genuine will cost you around P2,000 +/- each (4pcs yan sa paj)
glowplugs japan replacement (like what most of us in the FM thread use) will cost you siguro P400-600
assuming walang problema ang glowplug relay/timing system ng pajero... tatagal ang glowplugs (japan replacement) for years din.

Nakalimutan namin palang sabihin dito.
silver is my favorite color. i can get away with not cleaning the car for long-ish periods of time....
