There is something I can't put my finger on.
5-year old Pajero, 65Km mileage at P680K...
IMO, too good to be true...
Well, we are all mature here, we should know what to do....

65k sa odo tapos 5 years na yun sasakyan? Kung ako, go na ako dyan.
PERO, it will depend sa glow plug o gulong yan. May mga glow plugs na class A lang na mura, but it won't last that long. Yun magagandang glow plugs is twcie lang ng presyo ng class A (may post ako nito sa Pajero thread). Sa gulong, 5 years naman tinatagal niyan most of the time.

a lot of people have been telling me nga na mura na. but for me, di naman sya sobrang mura talaga. i think its just priced right. kasi kung sa ibang bansa lang basehan natin, fully depreciated na ang 5 year old vehicles. personal vehicle kasi ng nagbebenta ang pajero, di sya buy and sell or 2nd hand car dealer. and i think dito sa pinas, ang mga buy and sellers and 2nd hand car dealers ang nag di-dictate ng 2nd hand vehicle prices, so tataasan talaga nila. a friend of mine nga bought last 2011 a 2006 innova g diesel for 480k, direct from seller also. sabi ng marami ang swerte daw nya, pero i think he just bought the vehicle at the right price. kasi you can also buy a 2nd hand gasoline version of the same car for almost the same amount, dont tell me depreciation costs would differ just because a car is diesel or gasoline fed?
the buy and sellers and 2nd hand dealers are just playing the supply/demand route.
btw anong ibig sabihin ng 17.8k?

honestly what im really concerned about the unit is the automatic trans. is there a way of knowing na bibigay or almost bibigay na ang a/t? kailan ba dapat magpalit ng glow plugs?

Swerte mo pag, wala. Since local unit, most likely 100% casa maintained. Check mo records kung tugma sa sinasabi.

No, wag kang matakot sa auto tranny niyan. Di naman yan agad agad nasisira. We have a 10 year old FM and ok pa ang auto tranny niya. Sa glow plugs naman, kung hirap umistart, provided malakas ang battery, then its time na para mag-check ng glow plugs. Usually, kung maganda ang glow plugs, kahit 3 years, tatagal pa yan.

A 2006 Innova G Diesel in 2011 is five years old ++ (if Jan 2006 then six years old).
Cost of a G Diesel is about 0.9M. (manual ba or automatic?)
In 5 years, it has depreciated its value to about 0.9M*0.9^5= P531K.
In 6 years, it has depreciated its value to about 0.9M*0.9^6= P478K
So, the price of P480K is just about right. +/- some percentages....
However, a Pajero is about P1.5M then.
So, in 5 years, it has depreciated its value to about 1.5M*0.9^5 = P885K
This is where we are coming from....
Well, you know better since you have a direct access to the merchandise, bro.
Don't get me wrong, bro. I am just saying "take everything with a grain of salt"...
