condenser failing? how? its only a heat exchanger for the refrigerant. its either punctured or not.

Probably a leak, they said that there is an increase of gen3 cases, mostly due to damaged condenser tubes because they said they were thin. Probably caused by vibrations.

And there they add "pressure or temperature build up" due to the lack of AUX fan

Noted. Pansin ko lang kasi ang dami bumibili aux fan right out of the casa.

And it didn't help na may naka-abang na socket for the aux fan, para bang inalis sa orig spec.

Sa mga nakikita ko kasi may mga 3-4 years nag start na mag fail condenser ng Gen3

Side note, my vios is also 10 years old, wala naman kaso.

swertihan bro. our gen.2 aux fan lasted only 2yrs. pinalitan ko yung motor ng circuit kasi yin lang available 900pesos ata. if i remember tapos di ako mapakali replaced it with an orig mitsubishi made in japan. 2300pesos. conversely may kaibigan ako gen2 had his original aux fan last 5yrs. so ayun go figure.

walang bang traditional clutch fan ang montero? sa adventure at fortuner ko parehas na naka clutch fan lang.

sa adventure ko nag palinis ako ng aircon after 7 years.. kahit malamig pa pinalinis ko kasi wala naman syang cabin filter. after cleaning mas lumamig pa even without aux fan..

as i know latest gen. ng montero and fortuner only has the single clutch fan from segunyal. no electric aux fan. i don't know how they make the aircon work that way.

gen.2 montero has a single electric auxiliary fan for the condenser. i think our 2015 fortuner also does not have an electric aux. fan.

panasonic fan motor maybe? these maybe are oem i see them sell for around 2000plus pesos for the motor alone.

as i know latest gen. ng montero and fortuner only has the single clutch fan from segunyal. no electric aux fan. i don't know how they make the aircon work that way.

gen.2 montero has a single electric auxiliary fan for the condenser. i think our 2015 fortuner also does not have an electric aux. fan.

Malakas po ang airflow even with only the clutch fan.. radiator and condenser are stacked .. then the shroud directs air front to back.. sabi ko nga sa adventure ganyan lang din setup pero malamig ac.. no overheat din kahit tirik araw or babad sa traffic

1. Grinding feeling sa clutch when switching gears. Intermittent siya at pansin especially during low speeds (1st gear-3rd gear).
Mahirap i-shift minsan ramdam ko shifting cable na parang hindi lahat ng threads niya kumakapit.
2. Minsan may ramdam mo na nagvvibrate yung gas pedal. Nawawala naman. Intermittent din, madalas wala pero minsan meron.
3. Naglolockout yung gear during shifting. Naexperience ko minsan, di ko mashift sa 4th gear parang barado. Ginagawa ko, balik neutral ulit tapos shift ulit. Nakakatakot lang kasi high speed ka tapos biglang babara.

Pashare naman kung may nakapagpagawa na (at kung saan) or nakaexperience na sa inyo. Salamat.

just last month ngpa-pms ako kay sir zix ng 40k instead sa casa anyway expired na pms+ warranty ni teros

one of the things na nasabi and pinakita ni zix are the parts lacking na dapat nakalagay sa monty like rear damper at front aux fan na may abang na

cost me 1k for damper and 6k for aux fan plug & play, somehow bumilis naman lumamig specially when super hot at noon, big help naman

Change gear oil if di pa napapalitan.
