any dealership that carry the mitsubishi badge will do, it does not necessarily have to be where you got your unit
typical scenario for this will be provincial buyers who took their unit here in manila to save on freight cost. you really dont expect the provincial buyer to send back their unit to manila for PMS, they can have it serviced there in their locality

just keep in mind that in the laboratory there is no such thing as heavy traffic, in the real world there is & its a fuel economy buster
as long a you drive conservatively (below 60kph in the city & below 80kph in the highway) & you choose the light to moderate traffic route youll get close to that number

December 8th, 2012 08:45 AM #3354Otherwise, be ready to pay the gas, but no problem if you have fuel allowance.
Anyway, it is equipped with FC meter, there you can see if you are driving the 'tipidway' . Pag naka idle be yung Mirage ano yung FC reading? Kasi real-time reading yang sa MID, FC is based on the amount of fuel being injected at a particular instant, then the total volume of fuel injected at a particular time period, comparing it with total distance travelled at that same time period. Pag idle there is fuel consumption pero zero distance travelled. Try nyo rin off ang AC, and see if FC reduces.
Accurate po yang MID, kasi OBD quality ang precision ng data nyan, we just have to know how it averages the FC, and when we have to reset.

Do NOT swap out fuses with higher rated ones! The reason why fuses are there in the first place is because they should burn out before your wirings do. Undersized mga wiring ng stock na kotse for because it's designed to handle the stock small horn, which is why the fuses are of lower rating.
Kung pumuputok ang mga fuse dahil sa upgrade ng busina, hook up a new relay triggered circuit using proper sized wires. This circuit should have its own fuse.
Note that it is safe, in an emergency to replace fuses with lower rated ones, yun nga lang malamang puputok din yun agad. But never the other way around unless you want to risk your vehicle catching fire.Last edited by Alpha_One; December 8th, 2012 at 09:00 AM.

December 8th, 2012 08:58 AM #3356Now, yung number one source ng error ng MID computation is yung discrepancy ng tire circumference sa reference data mga around 5-6%.

December 8th, 2012 10:48 AM #3358Addition lang po sa mga umaangal sa FC mg mirage, it was confirmed through DTI na 21km/liter was been achieved by Mitsubishi Mirage here in the Philippines with this scenario:
1. It was a controlled traffic condition with a minimum speed of 80kph & maximum speed of 100kph. Escorted in front and at the back of the vehicle
2. Only driver and a passenger having both a body mass of 70kg.
3. Airconditioning on the lowest setting.
I have not owned any mitsubishi cars before, mirage is my first mitsubishi. I owned a Nissan Cefiro and honestly telling you I am happy that i am getting 14 to 16 km/liter on this kind of traffic condition with the mirage. You can't imagine how huge I decreased my FC using my Cefiro to Mirage.
There was an issue with the ride comfort but it doesn't bother me.
Overall performance is OK, I think you are just getting what you paid for. Just as I thought.

December 8th, 2012 11:36 AM #3359di ba parang mali na may vehicle sa harap nya as it decreases the drag?
kung ang ikakatwiran nila ay ganun sa actual phil roads, dapat medyo taasan naman nila aircon setting dahil tropical country tayo.
plus wala ako tiwala sa dti or any gov agency lol. sa mitsubishi meron
