    sourced from TG:

    Mitsubishi Motors Philippines will launch the Mirage small hatchback either late October or early November, according to MMPC marketing services vice president Froilan Dytianquin. The Mirage is a bit tricky to categorize since it is bigger than typical micro cars like the Hyundai Eon but smaller than subcompact ones like the Honda Jazz.

    Nevertheless, MMPC expects to sell a lot of units at launch. "We're projecting 500 to 600 units a month," Dytianquin told TopGear.com.ph during the media drive of the Mirage at Bira Circuit in Pattaya, Thailand.

    The Mirage will be available in two trims, the base GLX and the premium GLS. MMPC will bring in four variants of the Mirage: GLX 5MT, GLX CVT, GLS 5MT and GLS CVT. While the pricing isn't final yet, Dytianquin revealed that it will range from around P480,000 for the lowest variant to P620,000 for the range-topper.
    You already know that Mitsubishi Motors Philippines will launch the Mirage hatchback either late October or early November, and that the company expects to sell 500-600 units a month of the small car. Surely, MMPC is equipping the Mirage with some nice features if the car is to sell well, right? So we asked MMPC marketing services vice president Froilan Dytianquin about the list of standard features which the top-of-the-line GLS variant of the Mirage will sport.

    Here is a summary of the features the Mirage GLS will rock in our market:

    * Antilock brakes;

    * Electronic brake-force distribution;

    * Dual airbags;

    * Keyless engine start/stop button;

    * 15-inch alloy wheels (the base GLX will have 14-inch steel rims with hubcaps);

    * Fog lamps;

    * Rear spoiler;

    * Four-door power windows (the base GLX will only have power windows for the front doors);

    * Multimedia entertainment system with touch-screen display, GPS navigation system, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity; and

    * Tonneau cover

    suprising kung meron yang GLS M/T, sa Thai market GLX lang yung MT. Sana tama lang pricing.

    Pati yung 15in rim ng GLS, 14 lang yata yung sa thai market.
