Guys, my brother bought a wrong oil filter for his monty glx. Part number is 1230A154, mahaba since pang 3.2 ata ito. Tinamad na sya isoli and he instead bought the correct filter kung san sya nagpaservice. Sabi nung mechanic kasya daw ito sa strada 2.5 kasi masikip lang daw space sa monty kaya di pwede. Is this true? I have a strada 2.5 kasi and will use it kung pwede, but if not i'll sell it sa may 3.2. Thanks.

Guys, what oil are you using on your rear differential? This is the first time I changed my rear differential oil outside casa so I just based the oil, from the 3000-page triton manual that I downloaded from the internet.
Ride is 2013 GLX M/T 2WD and I used the Mobil Mobilube 80w90 with API GL-5 rating. I didn't overflow the oil up to the bottom lip as the guy from casa told me before that it should not overflow. I put on 2.65 liters, the manual states 2.6L, it didn't overflow but can be touched when I slid my pinkie finger. Any thoughts?

Thank you Zix for your input, I think tama naman ginawa namin, for good measure kasi, we measured the oil before we drained it using an allen wrench and then we made sure na we have the same level after re-filling, ayun nga 2.65L ang napalagay. With the oil, I think pasok naman yung Mobilube 80w90 gl5, kasi same API-rating and viscosity as the manual requires, and for hypoid gear din sya. Nalilito lang ako dun sa LSD part, di ko din alam if mine is LSD or not. hehe..
