Hey guys, anyone knows where can I buy a replacement bnew scv? Yung cheaper price sa casa. Cleaned my scv twice already pero bumabalik pa rin issues niya.
Ebay seller has been inactive for the last 2 months so if meron sana local seller it would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Hello everyone! A not so new member/parokyano ng tsikot forum here.

Just want to share and query na din guys - ours is a 2010 3.2L GLS 4x4 strada. it is already nearing its 100k odo and is scheduled for a heavy pms next week. One of the pricy item I have notice from my service advisor's tentative quote is that of the timing belt change which is around Php19k. The quote was given even without sa advisor verifying my engine. Nor did he ask kung ano variant ng strada ko.

I once encountered dito sa strada forum (di ko na mahagilap page number) a member stating that 3.2L variants carry the 4m41 engine type and as such is equipped with a timing gear/chain (instead of belt which is replaceable every 80k to 100k pms).

Tanong ko lang sa mga Strada 2010 3.2L owners - 1st. Is the claim that our 3.2L strada (4m41 engines) have timing chains true? and 2nd. If the first is true, kelan sya (timing chain) dapat palitan? Pasencya na mga sir, am really not so familiar sa mitsu engines . I'm learning just as my strada aged and I find this 1ook pms so crucial as my beloved pick-up have not yet encountered any major problem/repair. TIA guys sa advice.

Bought a brand new scv from a local seller. Cost a little bit less than El Dorado and the 13k price quote from my local casa.

Timing chains should typically last the lifetime of the engine hence they don't need to be replaced.
