February 3rd, 2014 07:17 AM #4261We have a GLS Sport V in the family. It's been with us for ten months now and so far so good. No problems with the engine whatsoever as it reaches the 15tkms mark soon. I have quite a number of pet peeves though. There are the cheap-ass plasticky interior, rather heavy steering, odd placement of steering wheel mounted audio controls (don't know why they won't just use the Montero's tiller), seemingly RHD position placement of the handbrake, lack of grab handles on the A and B pillars, and of course, the sluggish engine response below 2000rpm despite the VGT.

February 3rd, 2014 10:20 PM #4262Got mine last Dec 2012, I'm approaching the 20k mark, very happy with my strada, medyo malakas lang sa fuel. I like its 4x4 system, ganda ng traction. The original suspension is good, pero nag upgrade kasi ako kaya mas gumanda, hehehe. So far, have not encountered problems with its SCV.

Pa advise naman mga Sir,
Balak ko palitan stock bulbs ng Strada ko into HID ones but i do not have that big budget pa for those "angel eyes' stuff. I've been reading about the xenon HID 4300. meron dito sa lugar ko nito, worth Php 4,500 ( may kasamang ballast). Then I also read somewhere na meron ding Osram Nightbreaker Plus sa Ace Hardware worth 1,200 lang, but who would install it?
advise naman dyan mga bossing

I've been using HID bulbs for a few months now and you get what you paid for talaga kahit medyo mahal. My advice is, since maybe 1st time mo mag HID is to do it right. Always use proper projectors para dun sa HID bulbs mo. Ipon muna pag wala pang budget. Yung iba dyan bili nang HID bulbs then salpak sa halogen housing, the result: sobrang glare. pag mka salubong mo mga tao na ganito ang set-up usually mapapamura ka sa perwisyong hatid nang HID on a non-projector housing, yung iba napapa away dahil mali ang practice nila. There's always a correct measurement and science on automotive lighting.

mearon naman tayong freedom kung anong ikakabit natin sa ating rig. but always remember na hindi tayo makaka perwisyo sa ibang drivers. you can read some pointers here on HiD'shttp://tsikot.com/forums/car-lights-lamps-talk-155/ at dito. HiDplanet : The Official Automotive Lighting Forum tons of helpful info dyan about how to use properly yung, Projector HID. at maganda din na alam natin kung ano ang purpose na mga mods na nilalagay natin sa ating rig. ang famouse na mga profesional retrofitter sa atin ay si Gary Quizon of HIDRetrofit.net - HID Projector Retrofits | LED Lightning Innovation and Mr. Magtoto of https://www.facebook.com/redlineautoworks

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
