sir lakers24: 265/65/17 is still safe for strada. a lot of guys and even a friend of mine switched to oem monty size tires and rims.

ah ganun pala, bale magkasing lapad lang pala sir ang stock ng glx at ng montero and glx v? o payat ng konti glx pero pasok pa 265? yun kasing nakita kong naka 245 sa stock parang sagad na eh kasi naka umbok na sa gilid yung goma, anyway mas magandang option nga yung palit narin ng montero mags kasi mas bigger din at 17", option ko din dati yan eh, pero pag wider pa yata ex. 285 eh need ng mag lift or coil spacer unless sasayad as per jeff's off road.

Mga sir tanong lang po.
Nagpalit po kasi ako ng mags from GLS stock to aftermarket.
Pero yung stock lug nut di pwede sa aftermarket na mags ko.
Yung stock flat lang kasi na may washer bago yun nabili kong mags medyo slotted sya.
Pag bibili po ako ng lug nut ano po dapat i-consider?
Ano po ba size? may haba din po ba yun o standard lang?

Sa mga strada po na walang wider fender labas na po ung stock montero rim at tyres.. pero pag may fender flare, ok lng po.. mine fitted with montero rim na may 275 65 17 tires ok lng.. cguro sa 285 kaya pa without lift kc yun sana order ko nun kaso wala daw stock..just not a fan of low profile sa strada ksi nagmumukhang bakla.. lalo na yung sobrang nakalabas ung gulong..

para habang mura pa mabenta ko na tong stock tires at palitan ng masmakapal na bago.. ang laki kasi ng gap sa wheel well eh haha nakakairita tignan

Mga Bossing, advisable pa ba mag pakabit ng rear parking sensor sa ating strada, kahit may rear camera na sya?

IMO if you think that your backing-up cam is not enough and you sitll have the budget, why not. the more safety the better diba?

Kahit sa stock tire na 265/65 sir labas pa rin without the fender or dahil 275/65 ang gamit mo?
Kung stock monty rim fitted with 245/65 of GLS kaya? Balak ko kasi palitan either 20" or the stock monty pero kung may stick out pa rin kahit OEM ng monty I would rather go for the 20s.

Pag may wider fender sir hindi sya labas.. yung mga walang fender flare lang gaya ng glx yata (entry level) which has 16 rims.. mine has fender flare kaya pagkabit nung montero rims hindi sya nakalabas kaya lalagyan ko pa sya ng spacer na nabibili ng 500php each.. ok lang lagyan ng 245 65 yung montero rim parehas lang sila ng lapad nung 17 rims ng strada..pero ok din kung prefer nyo 20s.. my friend fitted his hilux with 20s with nitto grapler tires.. ganda din kaso takot sya ihataw offroad.. kaya sabi ko bakla yang hilux mo.. but sa appearance maganda din nman tlaga.. may issues lang sa accelaration.. kaya pag balak mo mag 20s sir painstall ka din fender flares, dami na din nagpakabit nyan dito para di masyado naka negative offset tingnan.

If 285/65/r17 baka wala sayad but if 285/70r17 tama na sigurado. Kahit maglift ka tatama sa mud guard mo.
