actually sir a/t tires have softer rubber compare to m/t's. kaya mas matigas ang m/t dahil they are subject to more harsh invironment sa offroad. a/t tires naman has softer rubber compound kaya it has better traction on-road rather than off-road. softer rubber has better grip sa paved road. kaya nga sa on-road racing cars, they use super-soft tires for qualifying rounds dahil it has the best grip sa road circuit.
maganda naman tingnan ang a/t tires sa rig natin sir. cooper tires also have good feedbacks on strada owners and mas cheaper compare sa nitto.
aba ok nga itong cooper sir kayang i budget onting ipon pa hehe unlike nitto hindi nako nag abalang magcompute..

Kung ako po sa inyo, kung mas prefer nyo ang speed at traction, forget about mts and ats.. go for a premium brand tires that offers good traction on wet and dry surfaces.. wla pong at & mt na pang hi speed at pang hi grip.. check your tire specs..

i think what lakers24 meant by his inquiry is to have to a rugged look of an mt tire but practical also for city driving. an at tire is the compromise for that. infact i dont think you can have a hi speed moment pag city driving ka lang unlike sa provincial highway na mahaba ang stretch nang road. if he forgets the at or mt then his left with ht tires. ht tires are designed specifically for passenger cars and not for suv or light truck. but some still use it for bling purposes. its also true that ht tires have better traction on wet and dry road compare to at's and mt's. but then, some of the streets in manila is always a flood prone area. and w/ knee deep waters during rainy season, i'll take at or mt tires anyday. my opinion only folks

Though ako naka at tires, jeje but i sticked with stock montero mags and got 175 70 17 grandtrek at3.. nadudulasan nga ako.

By now around 4tkms na ang mileage niya.

Konsumo niya according to the MID ay 6.2km/L heavy-footed, pure city driving.

Parang medyo ayaw na umakyat pa at this point. May limiter ba to?
