For the stock 16x6 wheels, the biggest approved tire size is 235/85r16 (32 inches; same diameter as 265/75r16). You may choose the all-terrain pattern for better traction. Our Cebu chapter head is using this size on his GLX. Price is around P7K each.
If upgrading to 16x8 or 17x9 alloy wheels, price per set is from P27K to P36K. Tires would then be 265/70r16 or 265/65r17. Pwede din 265/75r16 or 265/70r17 for bigger sizes. Tire prices are from P7K to P9K each.

well if it's any consolation yung free matting na yon, wala namang kwenta. masyadong manipis.
yung sa akin 5 mo pa lang may dalawang butas na yung sa driver side. may packaging tape na naka pache na tuloy.
(im just too much of a miser para palitan).
and parang magnet ng dumi.
Kaya alsmost everyone na kakilala ko bumibli di nung mga 3M mats.
btw, i admire how you handle this sit. parang cool na cool lang kayo and puro pa 'hehe'.

Wala atang 245/80r16, sir. Pero merong 235/85r16 which requires a minimum of 6 inches rim width (swak sa 16x6 stock GLX wheels). Medyo mahirap lang talaga maghanap ng ganitong size kase konti lang ang demand. 245/75r16 is a bit wide for the stock 16x6 wheels (tire requires a minimum of 6.5 inches rim width). Pwede na rin pero kailangan high pressure inflation para hindi pa rim-cut ang sidewall ng tire (above 30psi siguro; matagtag na).

when my glx-v 2012 rolled out from d casa from day 1, I immediately replaced d stock 205/16 tires to 245/16 using stock mags, so far no problem nman at 32psi.
May nakita nga pala ako advanti 20s wid falken tires * 90k set of 4 brand new, good buy n kaya ito?... Tempting... :-)

Sir, diba yung stock tires ng GLS Sport is 245/65r17? Mag fit ba yung 265/65r17 sa stock mag wheels? Worn out na stock tire ng ride ko eh.
What tires would you guys suggest to replace the duelers? Kasi I have read from threads in this forum that the stock duelers' perfomance is somewhat lack luster. So I am considering changing tire brands, leaning towards the yokohama geolanders as there is a dealership near where I work.
Also, san tire dealers yung P7k to P9k?
Thanks in advance.Last edited by Zhandros; February 1st, 2012 at 09:56 PM. Reason: Grammar and spelling

Free floormats, yun may hole na fitting d hooks, separate sa built in matting. Free lto, ewd. Discount P30k. First batch ng 2012 glxv wid abs. Key integrated alarm.
Alam ko standard freebie floormats, ewd. I also got 3m BC series tint all around with full front windshield tint as free. Nde ako pumayag sa FX series tint.
