based on what i saw sa showroom, the driver and front passenger seats where comfortable. am not too much into the trim and it was acceptable to me. the complaint i had with the outlander i checked out was that the back seats where a PAIN to sit in. matigas sobra parang nakasandal ka sa plywood. so it kinda turned me off. my passengers will complain to me pag sumakay kz we usually take long drives and seat comfort is number 1.

no chance to test drive but based on the comfort for the backseat passengers, i will have to pass on the outlander.

I have test ridden at the back and driven the Outlander. The ride at the back was stiff with a protruding lumbar support. Heard vibrations at the back esp. with rocky terrain, humps. At the driver seat, acceleration was very responsive to pedal effort with smooth engine note. The driver seat which was stiff too did not prevent me from sliding towards the door due to insufficient side bolstering. They allow test drives at Union Motors at Otis until Friday. Hope you guys out there would try.

The Outlander is a 5-seater CUV with an option for additional 2 seats at the back. I'm not sure if MMPC have also imported the 3rd row seats.

I actually held on tightly on the tonnoeu trunk cover to eliminate vibrations at the time of the test ride but the vibrations persisted. I pointed it out to the Union Motors sales people (two rode with me) to remedy before another one test drives their unit. Please ask your wife / daughter / son / relative to sit at the back seat and drive over humps and rocky terrain and ask for feedback. The driver seat I compared with Subaru Forester Turbo and RAV4 and the both have adequate side bolsters and the lower back support did not push towards my lower back and both had some give when you drop your butt on their seats.

hmm weird i dont have any vibrations at the back except for the subwoofer... yung driver seat naman po i dont have any problems.. (maybe because i have a small body build? i dunno...) as for the back seats i dont have many experiences of people riding at the back pa...

you can adjust the rear of the Outlander sir...

Anyway, with regards to the two... I cant compare them. They are both sweet rides.
