bad trip. nabunggo outie ko!

last night a Toyota HiAce van bumped me from behind along EDSA-Guadalupe North Bound.

ayun my rear has some dents and scratches. pero bilib ang mga MMDA pati na yung nakabunggo sa akin na onti lang damage kay outie .. pero dun sa van laglag yung harap nya at luwa yung ilaw.

problema nga lang eh, TPL lang insurance nya since luma na sasakyan nya.

malapit pa man din na ang EB.

anyway its my first time na ma involve sa car accident. so far ang ginawa ko eh:

nagpa-MMDA Police report.
take pictures.
tapos i made a written agreement between me and the driver of the van na sasagutin nila yung participation fee nung repairs for outie. di ko pinaalis yung driver hangga't di kami nagkakapirmahan nung agreement. and i also contacted the owner na amenable sya sa ganung kasunduan.

i also have a copy of the van's OR/CR and driver's license nung driver.

any other tips in cases like this? ano pa ba dapat kong gawin?

sorry to hear about your outie's collision, sir edok. you practically covered all areas necessary in reporting the incident and getting the van's owner to compensate for the damage.

i have a question - do you have working REAR FOG LAMPS in your units?

i have a 2.4 4x4 and i read in the manual how to operate it but it doesn't seem to work. nakita ko yung rear lamps pero parang walang bumbilya at wala rin yung indicator sa instrumentation panel. i'm still waiting for my SA's reply as of this writing.

baka di kasama sa variant ko? please advise.

sorry to hear about what happened to you and your outie sir. but impressed nonetheless on the durability of the outie as per your description. mind if you post some pictures though? and we hope that the damage gets repaired soonest! all the best!

OUCH!!! sana maayos nang madali yan. share ko lang din sa inyo medyo matagal na in glorietta 4 carpark. i was backing up into a slot and then BOOM! i was maybe distracted and didnt notice that the backup sensor was already wailing. mangiyak ngiyak ako nun and immediately went down the car to check the damage. to my amazement, walang kahit anong ngyari. walang gasgas walang bugbog, WALA! as in hinahanap ko hanggang ngayon, wala talaga! HEHE mukang matibay ang bumper natin.

wala po tayong rear foglamps. gusto ko din pakabit. may mga pictures si sir tony sa facebook. pinalagyan nya yung outie nya.
feeling ko kelangan yung fog lamps kase ang liit lang ng area ng park lights natin sa likod.

thanks for your reply, sir mon! sige pag usapan natin ito sa EB. sayang kasi yung rear fog lamps, may abang naman so palagyan natin...di ko lang alam paano yung indicator lamp sa instrumentation panel kung gagana yun o pano paganahin.

wow, matibay talaga pala yung rear bumper natin...sabagay ginawa nila yun na pwedeng upuan ng mga taong mas mabigat pa sa ating mga pinoy

Sir,

I've a question about the PSi meter. Every time my engine starts it checks the PSi of each tire and it indicates that my spare tire is flat . Nagtataka lang ako kung baket tumutunog ung psi ng spare tire pero when I checked the spare tire it's well inflated. This never happened before. It started alarming lang when i had my 1st 1,000km check up. I asked the service ppl to check all of my tires pressure kase. Thank you in advance!

its seems there might be something wrong with the sensor. yes, the dealer should do something about it. IMO, this can be a warranty claim...

*lymar07- AFAIK, the lower tailgate can accomodate up to 400 pounds since i read it in one of the manuals of the outie...

*edok- im sorry to hear about what happened to your outie... if possible, please post pictures of the affected area so we can further assess what happened.

guys update lang dun sa accident with my outie.

i already got the police report. however, i can no longer contact yung number nung nakabunggo sa akin. it seems that nagpalit na sila ng number.

baka pinagtataguan na ako at hindi afford yung sinisingil kong participation fee.

kapag ganito na po yung case, ano na ba dapat gawin? file na agad ako ng formal complain? hindi ba masyadong magastos yun? thanks guys!

btw - yung MMDA pictures ng outie ko - since they are using an old camera na de-film pa .. eh hindi rin na-capture yung damages ... puro liwanag lang. anyway i'll try to take a picture using my camera and post it here soon.
