hi guys,

i'm not sure if this was discussed in this forum before but i thought it may be useful information regarding the rockford fosgate and the OEM sound systems in the outlander:

OEM sound system: 6 speakers (and not 4, as stated in the brochure) - 4 pcs 6" mid-range speakers w/ 2pcs 1" tweeters

RF sound system: 9 speakers - 2pcs 1" tweeters, 2pcs 6" mid-range speakers, 2pcs 6" two-way speakers (meaning it has a built-in tweeter per speaker) and a 10" subwoofer

both sound systems have pre-set equalizers.

sana makatulong ito sa mga curious (tulad ko) tungkol sa sound system ng outlander. IMO, the outie's OEM sound system is better than the new RAV4's (which my sister owns)

Is the standard discount for the GLX P20,000? with an SRP of 1.25m it becomes 1.23m... anyone know of any dealer who offers more than 20k discount?

the list that i got last week has P1.250M as the discounted price for the 2.4 4x2 variant. SRP is P1.270M. don't think it will go any lower than that.

ask for more freebies instead, sir n76p.

you mean the GLX has six speakers? active yung tweeters sa may doors/windows? i am not an audiophile, but knowing this will certainly add to the listening experience!

yes, sir batangmahal. i tried both the sound systems of the OEM and the RF from the 3.0 and the 2.4 4x2 variants. i tinkered w/ the bass and the treble controls and we (w/ SA and wifey) heard the treble from the tweeters on the front doors.

nagtataka lang ako bakit malaki ang discount ng OUTLANDER 3.0 V6?what is the FC?sabi ng SA FC is 8 km/l city driving ; 12 km /l daw sa highway!can anybody confirm this figures?

Malabo. Swerte mo na maka 5km/L sa 3.0 V6 tapos SUV pa. hehehe.

Baka kaya sila nagd-discount kasi ilalabas na yung Outlander DiD (turbo common-rail diesel). ganda nun.

okay thanks!pinagpipilian ko kasi subaru forester and Outlander but now im convince na....kakatemp lang kasi yung offer sa outlander 176t DP all in na!
