Just want to say I've enjoyed reading this forum for the last month. Great info, insights, and tips on the outlander itself, and as compared with similar vehicles like the Forester, Escape, and CRV.

Was originally looking at the Forester for the total package. A bit pricey though for a 2.0. Couldn't ignore the Escape for its price, although it was really just a facelift of a 5-year old model. Also owned an Escape so I knew it was reliable.

Thanks in part to all of your posts, am getting my new Outie this morning at Citimotors. Looking forward to enjoying the new ride, and getting more tips and pointers from all of you Outie owners.

i used petron unleaded, then shifted to xcs. it seems to me na mas malakas humatak ang xcs. tried petron e10 too. that one seems to be better than xcs, pero mas malakas din ang konsumo ng gas. now, i'm back to xcs.

what's your fc po using seaoil unleaded?

Sa casa, you will buy the part number (same for Lancer) and piyesa pa lang yung wala pang labor. 3000 plus pesos from my last inquiry sa Citimotors. It appears to be for the new lancer on thier parts list from the Plant. Its the same part number according to the US and Australian threads I have read. Im still thinking if I should get one for my wife kasi kanya naman yung Outie. Sa forester kasi built in na.
Where is this "Mickey"? Would like to do the same..
