Well, best is to test drive bro. Ako kasi galing ako sa Ford Escape. Tahimik kasi sa loob, maganda kasi sound insulation. Yun outie, hindi talaga. Maganda naman sounds ng 4x4 so ok na. Solution is to get sound barrier treatment. When I sold the Escape to get the forester, drive ko matagal outie ni Mrs. Masanay ka na din after a while. Suspension niya is sports tuned, di soft roader gaya ng Escape. Im not saying the Escape is better, sobrang olats after sales nila.

na-testdrive ko yung outlander at gusto ko suspension niya. to compare it w/ x-trail, 2nd gen cr-v at yung tinestdrive kong '09 forester - tight ang outie (or maybe kasi bago yung testdrive unit).

yung noise naman - i guess pareho outie w/ the x-trail na parang manipis ang sound insulation (pero nasanay ako). 2nd gen cr-v naman ay tahimik sa loob.

gusto ko talaga ang 2.4 4x4 pero dahil sa bagong developments sa gastusin ko lately, napapaisip ako sa 4x2

kaya heto, nagtatanong tanong tungkol sa 4x2

That's not me sir. I don't have a facebook account.

Got my Outie back last fri. and been road testing it. Everything seems back to normal. If that Outie has the same problem as mine he will be in luck because Mitsu Phil. has the sensor already in stock, and no need to wait for 3 1/2 weeks just for it to arrive and be installed.

Thanks man! I've been putting it in its paces (2wd, 4wd auto, 4wd lock and ASC off, part throttle and WOT) just to see if it really is ok. So far so good.

Any Eb on the horizon?

mga outie owners taga cebu po ako, just noticed marami nang outie nagtatakbo compared a few months back this year. just wondering if nag promo ba yung outie? or its just coincidence na maraming bumili,anyways poging pogi naman outi ganda!
