The sensor gives info to the ABS system and the traction control system. Without it my ABS and traction system will not work. Only 10k on my Outie (just had it serviced pa naman) and it conks out. Compounding this problem is that Mitsu Philippines (not just my casa but the entire network) doesn't have the part in stock! After a year of releasing the Outie and still they don't have the critical parts in stock, talk about foresight and efficiency man!

Just talked to the service advisor and was informed that they will order it in Japan pa and don't know exactly when it will arrive most probably after a week pa raw (siguro pa yun, walang commitment daw). Mas mabilis pa kung ako na lang nag-order thru my contact dun, 3 days lang nandito na.

Never expected this to happen after paying and getting the top of the line model!

    This just sucks big time!

Sorry to hear that ceepawn, that really hurts! Ingat na lang sa daan while waiting for the sensor to come in.

hi edok, i see that you have a black outie. question lang sir - does it come with the silver front bumper garnish (ano ba tawag talaga dun?)?

sabi kasi sa akin ng SA na stock daw yun sa mga 4x4 variants (be it 2.4 o 3.0). true?

    hi sir lymar07

yep i have a black outie - GLS.

the silver stuff sa lower bumper (i'm not sure how it is called) is actually stock on GLS Sport Variant.

GLS Variant is also a 4WD with 2WD mode same with GLS Sport. Though only GLS Sport has that silverish stuff sa lower bumper ;) for the rest (GLX 4x2, GLS 4x4) - it all comes in black :D

This is indeed as bad as it sounds! Do keep us posted on what MMPC plans to do and actually does.

    Update on my Outie

Called the casa yesterday and was told that the sensor will be delivered to them on Oct. 20 pa. by that time 3 weeks ng natutulog yun outie ko sa kanila. MMPC will lend me the only service car that's available daw (old lancer).

I feel that the after sales service is a big letdown. MMPC has the resources to speed up the delivery of the said part but is not willing to go the extra mile in helping out their customers. A simple phone call to the head office and next day delivery of the said part (or even 3 day delivery would have sufficed) would have been the best solution, but they still opted for the long route. And that reflects a lot on their company culture.
