Two things that caught my attention
1. Decrease in fuel mileage - the main reason I'm considering use of e10 is because it's generally cheaper by around 2 petot, but if my mileage (at an average of 7 km/l now) will drop, there is no point in shifting from regular unleaded to this, right?
2. What's the octane level of Shell's or Petron's e10?

Shell's E10 has poor fuel consumption I only average about 5km/l
Petron's E10 seems to have better fuel consumption, first fill I got 6km/l, have'nt done my second fill but I think I'm going to get morethan 6.5km/l

Shell is 93 RON while Petron is 95 RON...

It seems mukhang 6.5 - 7 km/l na talaga fc ko, am at 6+++ kms, 2.4l 2wd, Petron super unleaded...

i shifted momentarily to petron xcs. will go on another long drive this weekend to batangas. i'll check on my fc, if there's any improvement. after this, i am planning to try petron e10 naman. i also have the glx variant.

i will be getting my outlander 2008 GLS tomorrow. my SA told me that he will deliver it by tomorrow. am so excited! this will be my first car/suv.

its a good thing that there's a thread like this.

aside from the excitement from my new car/suv .... i am also excited about the new things that i will buy - such as mud guards, scruff pads(?), baggage net, and the list goes on ........

saka yung seat cover ........i saw this ubberly nice seat cover from the website of recaro ....... for me its to-die for.

question lang - totoo bang all biege lahat ng outlander? yun kasi sabi ng SA sa diamond motors.

any suggestions on "further improvement" on the aesthetics of my new ride?

btw - the color is black :D and the tint is medium.

for the 4x2 model PhP1.248M less 68k cash discount. Ewan ko lang kung nag price increase na ngayong august.

dun sa diamond motors cainta, effective immediately price increase ng GLX nila - eto yata yung 4x2 model. it priced at 1.2M something. 20K na lang ang discount ngaun.

the GLS - is priced at 1.45M - 80K discount :D

congrats on your new ride po afaik beige po lahat ng na release dito sa atin... medyo madumihin talaga kaya dapat palaging puinupunasan.

1st suggestion... get mud guards... specially this rainy season.. i have a white outie every time it rains super dumi nung sidings ko... when i place mudguards nabawasan kahit papaano!

hindi ba kasama ang mudguards sa vehicle mismo? separate pa sya kelangan bilhin? mga magkano kaya yun?
