kung di mo naman gagamitin for extreme off-road, mag dmax ka na. at least sigurado ka na matatagalan pa na palitan yung body. and it has nice safety features and a new engine. unlike strada which has been around for quite sometime.
just my 2 cents....

May 14th, 2004 04:07 PM #15is their any cost difference between the two?
i would vote for a strada pero manual kukunin ko. i think the engine is just right kung manual, pero kung matic, medyo mahina na.

gaano mo ba kabilis napatakbo yang dmax? nakaabot na ba at least 140kph man lang?

luckytruck::: Power to the wheels will almost be the same with A/T and M/T trannys. Matics have torque converters inside the transmission so that power loss when shifting is minimized. Actually, you loose more power to the wheels when driving in manual tranny.

May 15th, 2004 09:58 AM #20ungas, i guess you are right, i am not too familiar with diesel automatics kasi.
maybe its just the shift points that i am concerned with. when i had a matic na civic kasi, then i drove my friend's manual civic, i found his civic more responsive because i could control the shift points better with the manual.
does that make sense?
maybe the diesel matics will be different.
