2000 montero sport engine change

Goodpm po. I have a 2000 montero sport ls us version 3.0L v6 petrol emgine. Needs overhauling na and pahirapan sa parts. Im opting to switch to diesel nlng. Kasya po ba 4m40 efi or 4m41 na engine sa sasakyan? And estimate po how much po both engines and tranny? And kung may nabibili poba na instrument cluster na pang diesel bka hindi maging accurate kasi reading. Hehe. Thankyou sa makakatulong po

Number is from Ford club philippines na nagchange ng engine ng expedition from has to diesel.
And also just this year at MIAS may shop na advertising diesel conversion.
Wait natin iba tsikoters baka may nakakaalam ng shop.

I think may parts naman yan. Mahal nga lang kasi walang replacement.

May gas engines pa din ngayon ang montero eh.

Baka naman hindi kailangan overhaul? Loose compression na?

Meron namang local 1st gen Montero with the 4M40 engine so plug and play dapat for the most part.

Mahirap maghanap ng parts po. Nawawalan po kasi ng oil almost a liter per week and fc nasa 4 nlng sa city and 6-7 sa hiway.

4m41 poba kasya? Para di feel masyado na bumagal from v6 na petrol. Hehe

Meron na bang 4M41 surplus engine? Not sure kung kakasya ng plug and play, pero yung 4M40 malamang kakasya talaga. Marami namang mods para sa 4M40 if you want more power.

Meron ako nakita fb 4m41 sir kaso 275k with tranny kapresyo na ng 2nd hand na sedan. Hehe. Thnkyou sir hanap nlng 4m40 na sariwa siguro.

Sobra naman nyang 275k. I suppose hindi pa kasama ang labor costs jan? 4M40 plus big volume FMIC upgrade and alcohol injection should make your Montero fly.

TS need to consider also baka mas mura na ibenta na lang yung petrol unit niya then buy a brand new or 2nd hand diesel monty kesa palit makina at tranny...
