    I can't shake this feeling about this job offer i was recently given. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of compensation and perks, but something seems off.

And everything should fall into their proper places....

    Wala namang major red flags so far; i've read some not so nice comments about the company, pero meron din namang positive comments. My recent experience has made me praning about office politics/backstabbing. i'm not exactly a young buck, so i have to cast an eye to the future, be it in IT or other fields.

    Bro.,- sadly office politics and backstabbing will always be there.... It is hinged on the prevailing corporate culture, which is normally dictated by the higher ups, and so it may be worthwhile to observe their activities/actions when you visit the company... Individual contributors with a different development/promotion ladder are [typically] relatively-shielded from these. However, you have to interact with people too,- and that's where it can catch fire.... Management should take it upon themselves to be the buffer for such sh!t in the company so that their people can efficiently deliver in an environment of goodwill and collaboration....
