He He I had to make sure I didn't miss the last jeepney headed back to Zapote.

I wasn't one to stay at home. Of course, my parents never knew about my travels above.

Yes bro. Very limited opportunities during high school or university days to go out of my regular routes/schedules because of meager/very tight allowance and I have to give focus on my studies....

However, never failed to get to know the people in our area, from all levels of life - good and bad ... Those experiences helped me through this journey.....

You never left the house that much? I don't think I can handle that. I mean, there were a lot of times I was broke too. But, that never stopped me from going out and having fun. Just cycling around the Pamplona/Alabang/Sucat/Cavite area was lots of fun. I probably got into places I shouldn't have been to. But, that was part of the excitement. During school break when I was done with my chores, I'd be gone not to be seen again until supper time. I still had a curfew.

I also spent a lot of time visiting and staying over with friends. So long as a friend can vouch for me, my mom didn't mind me staying over a weekend at a friend's house and vice versa. My mom loved to see me bring friends home with me. She would prepare a nice dinner for them and make room for sleeping over. The only time she was a bit curious is when I brought over some female friends. Of course, I reassured her that they were just friends, nothing romantic.

The LPC area bro, not the house... Curfew was a big thing....

Those were the days when the villages were open fields and we'd stay with friends until late at night, either bicycling around our village or just spending time chatting about what have we.... Have you gone dipping at "balkon"???

Yes, you were broke. But not your parents... In my case, we were broke.... I believe that your condition then compared to ours - we were poles apart....

I liked those days when there were still a lot of open fields. Any shade would feel refreshing because of the breeze. We all had curfews. We were both minors back then. Nothing we can do about that.

I'm not familiar with "balkon." Perhaps it goes by another name. I did much of my swimming at Philamlife Village. I think I also swam at a place called Lozada. I also spent a lot of time swimming at Covelandia (Island Cove?), usually with my cousins who lived nearby. I used to swim at Manila Bay (at Binakayan) during high tide. But, I quit after I saw sh*t floating near us. My mom had to bring me to a clinic and make sure I didn't get a skin disease.

Thinking if I should surprise my boss in HQ with a gift for his 25th anniversary at the company. Or maybe I should just wait for his birthday.

ha ha ha! I just appreciate him a lot. I feel guilty because I sent a birthday git for my other boss, but I was not able to send him anything for his anniversary.
