NLEX actually uses you plate number with camera, mas mabilis sa RFID scan. Although not everyone has their plate number tied to their RFID account, hence the card.

You can register your plate number to your RFID account by filling up the form on their website.

Normally when I book in Agoda the amount in peso is equivalent when I received my credit card SOA but this time I was surprise that the price did not match. The amount in Agoda is around 5,700 and then the CC SOA is almost 6,000. I mean there is no currency conversion since I book in peso in Agoda.

The card is back up for when the tags/RFID readers don't work. Just had to replace one of my older tags kasi bigla na lang di gumana recently. Just handed over the card to the attendant and we were on our way, no more delays.

this happens to me in slex, on a predictable basis.
one of the gates i frequent, regularly fails to read my rfid. i regularly hand over my plastic, to the gatekeeper.
yung ibang ka-hilerang gates naman, ay literate...

Came across my expired passport this morning, got me into thinking why they are not accepted as ID. Does it mean that the person in the ID is no longer the same person if expired?

    well,
if the requirement is for a VALID ID,
it stands to reason that an expired ID is not a valid ID. the law, though arguably illogical in this practical aspect of using IDs to verify identity, declares so. and there's nothing we can do about it.
however! if the institution involved does accept expired IDs for their purposes, we can only say "thank you".

    OT offshoot.
    by the same token,
one does not automatically lose his driving skills overnight, just because his driver's license expired yesterday. BUT we know what happens when we are accosted and the accosting officer finds out our DL is expired. $$$!
and i didn't lose all my hard-earned medical expertise, just because my PRC license expired last week. our patients do not seem to notice, either.
fortunately, incompetence on the basis of expired profession ID or license, has been set aside by the supreme court.
but i admit, i may not look as dashing as i did, three years ago, when my ID picture was snapped onto my license...
    heh heh.

    in the past,
it was more difficult to renew an expired pasaporte than a current passport.
asked why, the DFA representative sheepishly answered, "kasi po, expired passport documents are transfered to the other building..."
with all the current technology available now, i do hope they have since rectified this... issue.

What is the difference between Stories and Reels in FB? I mean they are the same short video clips which you upload.
