I can relate sir been in that position long time ago. Halos everyday asar ako sa manager ko dati. Took me months to overcome it. After that pa minsan minsan naasar pa rin. Tiis na lang at mahabang pasensya until nalipat din sa ibang assignment si manager. Pero may mga time din naman na ok sya.

I remembered mom was supposed to fly to NY from CA on the 10th but she postponed it on the last minute, so I have no idea and thought she was in NY, was frantically calling her while watching CNN.

I was transfixed to the tv about the events during 9-11 and the day after. I also recorded the events live via tv tuner. I finally remembered to do a screen capture the day after.



Back then, I was still into themes for the desktop. I also have a backup CD labeled 9-11 although I had it done the day prior, not expecting the events that occurred.

I recall the specs of my PC back then: P3-733, 768mb RAM, MSI motherboard with Apollo Pro chipset, 32mb TNT2, Voodoo2 SLI, Hauppage WinTV PCI. W2k Pro.

I still have that tv tuner up to now. It's now 17 years old.

I was watching Scooby Doo on Cartoon Network and switched the channel to CNN and saw the breaking news (between the first and second plane). It was surreal.

I don't think news crews saw the first plane live. They probably had to rely on public video footage. It's after they sent out news crews to investigate the first crash that they saw the second one crash into the WTC.

I was watching ABC News with Peter Jennings speculating about the first crash unaware of the second plane approaching.

I was flicking through the channels that night when I came upon a channel where I saw the WTC on fire, at first I thought it was a movie but noticed the CNN logo on the upper right side of the TV, i quickly woke my wife, after a few minutes the 2nd plane hit the other building

While Peter Jennings was speculating/doing a phone interview, there were different camera viewpoints all over NYC. I saw the silhouette of an airliner flying very low over the NYC skyline for well over a minute. I already knew it looked out of place. There shouldn't have been airlines in the area. Then, I got that sick feeling something is about to happen.

Did that already, inabutan ko ng malinis na tissue sabay offer yung isang donut ko.
