It's run by a young couple who just started a few days ago. Each cup is 35 pesos, which is cheap considering fresh juices in Manila are around 80 pesos per cup.

However, they're competing against 10-peso artificially sweetened drinks. I feel that the demographic here isn't the perfect target market, but I really hope for the best for them. Bought each of my staff one cup to support the business, hopefully they stay afloat and make decent wage out of their budding venture.

Proud of you bro.- for "helping them out" and wishing them well....

The biggest tips I make ALWAYS are with the [to a certain extent selective] locals in the our provinces when we travel ...

I want them to be the most successful in life. They deserve it.

And with some words of encouragement to them.

They're most grateful for that... Iba nga umiiyak pa...

Sobrang hirap kasi talaga kumita sa probinsiya. If you're lucky, you have enough capital for a business.

If not, you either work in a BPO, go abroad, or live the rest of your working life near minimum wage until some windfall comes along.

But yung mga successful na businessmen in the province, they're richer than corporate Manila bigwigs, even though they usually maintain their simple lifestyles.

Meron din naman mga lumaking negosyo sa probinsya na nagsimula sa wala bro. One of my dad's customers set up shop in Tinambac many years ago. Today they are many times bigger than my dad's business.

Kelangan lang matiyaga, matapang and also some luck. In their case kelangan din mabilis bumunot at asintado. Lots of Nosy People Around. The area was also very inaccessible. But that made competition scarce and they practically dictated the prices of whatever they sold there.

Yes bro. But yung grocery is only good until SM/Puregold step in. Nag-uunahan na rin sila sa ibang provinces. Hardware/agri will last longer imho.

Correct, SM Hypermart is already in Nasugbu and Amadeo. Waltermart is also scheduled to open in Nasugbu.

Lian and Calatagan, none yet. In fact Calatagan only has one big "mom and pop" grocery in the center of town. Blockbuster ang mamimili tuwing weekends.

Another good business IMHO, specially in coastal (fishing) towns is ice.

Will I ever meet someone who has a stronger personality than crush/heartbreaker? He is one of the few people in my life that I really look up to and can control me

I thought about it because us managers will be paired with fresh grads and we will act as their mentor. I told my friend that I will request to be paired with a guy that is masunurin (I don't like girls because too fragile)

My manyak officemate said, "female domination ha" WTF! Where did that come from In reality I prefer that someone takes the lead, but I need to highly respect that person (like my Dad, my Kuya cousin, my German boss and crush/heartbreaker)

Sa Dagupan City lang di makapasok si SM, Robinsons and Puregold ( as far as I can recall).

Di sila makaporma kay Mayor Belen at ExMayor Benjie, since sila may ari ng CSI at Magic.

The Shell Gas Station just outside our village ,whose pump prices arebelow the rest, silently increased their prices.

    Now prices are the same...
