And I don’t get the “wrong timing” eh ngayon ang bakasyon nun expat so kailagan dapat ? Kailagan sumunod sa mga former office mates niya kung kailan gusto, pwede ba during weekdays? Meron nanaman dahilan meron pasok eh, eh di Friday para sa office na. Traffic rh Friday night Aga Sunday na lang. family day eh. Sama meton pasok next day.

Zoom hangout na lang maganda pa, hinde pa kailangan gumastos sa airline ticket saka wala na bayaran sa restaurant.

It’s not like every week andito yun expat.

Hinde rin pwede dahilan na mga super close lang makakapunta.

The fact kasama kayo sa invitation eh considered kayo as friend nun expat. Kung hinde Bakit kayo invite.

But I’m sure next time yun mga hinde nag atten won’t be invited anymore.

BGC and Makati are walk friendly, as long as you stay within the confines of the CBD

We usually think about parking before we plan an event. That makes places like Greenbelt, High Street, or Podium good choices since they have a lot of parking on non-working days. Unfortunately a balikbayan may not be too familiar with the parking situation in the Metro.

Traffic is bearable, not being able to park anywhere isnt.

Mahirap parking, traffic then leave early para hinde magahol sa oras ng appointment.

Again, this is not a regular hangout na pwedeng gawin every week. Minsan lang dumating yun nag invite since sa abroad na naka based and hinde pa napagbigyan.

I mean, kung pero traffic Ang dinadahilan magtago na lang sa bahay, I think ayaw lang talaga mag attend and gunagawa lang ng dahilan.

Nag rain check na ko nung unang invite pa lang about a month ago kaya wala talaga ako sa head count :P ALL of the people invited (more or less 16) said yes and only 2 (me and another guy) said not sure which is good as no for pinoys. Friday I was set on going since I had nothing to do on Saturday. I had my outfit and gifts ready for some friends na nga. I can't deny na nagpadala ako sa friends ko na hindi pupunta. My BFF said she's not going if I am not going but since she lives in the area sinundo na lang siya kaya di na siya nakatanggi. Ang konti kasi ng nakarating, less than half

Ang malaki ang kasalanan yung mga nag confirm at hindi pumunta :P Anyway, I will send a gift for the balikbayan na lang.

I do walk a lot because I absolutely HATE looking and paying for parking, so when I park, my car won't move anymore and I will just walk to all the places I need to do my errands. BUT it also depends on what I am wearing, not when I'm in uncomfortable shoes or dress hehe

Funny kasi Central Square to Market Market/Aura I regularly walk BUT Central Square to Uptown is NOT walkable for me. Yung "newly developed" area of BGC I don't walk to. Yung area din going the direction of Lawton I am not familiar with anymore. ACCRA to Grand Hyatt is too far for me to walk hehehe. Yung area ng ACCRA I walk to a lot kasi I go to the Union Bank across. Bubble Tea used to be one of my "comfort restos" too

Uptown may seem far but it is actually about 10 minutes from high street. One time a hot chick standing outside fort strip and checking her phone asked me where uptown is. Alas, I was with my wife and my dog so I just bit my lip and pointed her towards the right direction. I wondered who would be gentleman enough to walk her all the way. [emoji23]

i would have given her the right directions: point with my hand and say, "walk that way and turn left at the third corner".
i have no idea who's waiting for her at the other end.

another thing, my friends who don't frequent BGC always complain about how confusing BGC is. I guess I don't find it confusing since madalas ako sa area pero nakakalito daw talaga BGC

I know parang NY lang but it must have something to do with how my brain is wired na I find number street names hard to remember. Basta 32nd st, 5th Ave, Rizal Drive and 11th ave lang reference point ko then I work my way from there. Pero yung Uptown streets I can never remember. Kaya when my friends ask me for directions hirap din ako LOL

When someone asks for directions, I just say check waze

BGC is more logical than the one-way mess of Makati CBD. Im only familiar with the latter since I worked there for while

That's the equivalent of google it sa forum

You'd be surprised that a lot of people still don't use Waze/Google Maps.

BGC and Makati, it's the same na for me since they also implemented one way in some streets but not as bad as Makati nga.

WTH happened? My fat lab's dog food increased from P3265 to P4005! That's a P740 or 20%+ increase. OMG! I am jobless pa naman and that is good for one month lang

Fat Lab switched to this food Dec 2020 and it was only P3205, it increased to P3265 on Mar 2022 then it jumped to P4k?!?! Parang I wanna call and ask if they had an error sa website but I have no way to call because I just order online

Kasalanan ba ng PH Government to? hahaha

When I look into this forum, ang mura bili ng iba for a Panasonic brand but that was last year or before that.

German Standard DIN batts are usually priced higher than regular SM/SMF of similar specs.
Used to be mostly for euros, now even the Innova is DIN spec'd.[emoji2957]

Normal na ba for 11 yr olds to have BFs/GFs? I am an older millenial and during my time that was unthinkable!

I started talking (ONLY!) to boys I was in HS and did not get into a relationship (na patago) until college! Rule ng parents ko kasi to finish college first before I am allowed to have a BF. HS I could understand pa may BF GF na but 11?!?!

Totoo ata yung nabasa ko na children that feel like they don't get enough love and attention from parents seek it from romantic relationships. I think ako nasobrahan ng pagmamahal from family (I'm not complaining) hehehe
