What is it with people who like the beach? It's salty and there are sharks, jelly fish, sharp corals etc.

I'm thinking people like the beach just so they can show off their body. Because it's the only place acceptable to walk around in what's practically underwear hehe

it's more like, "see them and enjoy, before they come see me".

the ***iest people on earth do not seem ***y at all, when they enter the physician's clinic.

It's a relatively quiet, clean, picturesque place to recharge. There are a lot of activities too. Surfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, jetskiing, paragliding, etc. The scantily clad heavenly bodies walking around are just a happy coincidence. ☺

My pic? That's seaweed, doc. Then farther out it blends in with the dark color of the deeper water.

My family and I love the beach and it's not because of the bikinis and the like (bonus na lang lang yan but if you're around often enough, you don't really care much about it and it's just part of the seaside life). It's about early morning and even tanghaling tapat swims, sitting on the sand I the late afternoon, the meals and drinks at sunset, etc.

Ako ayaw ko din sa beach, pag uwi andaming ligpitin. Kaya ngayon usapan, lahat ng kainin sa site nalang; wala ng baon baon except for plastic bags and gamit, no food [emoji28].

Only narcissists think that way and thats maybe less than 1% of the people who go to the beach. The rest of us are normal folks who dont have gym fit bodies Sharks? 1 in a billion chance you will get attacked ----let alone die. Jelly fish? Seasonal and confined to certain locations. Easy to avoid. Salt water? Give me a break....its rejuvenating and healthy. Corals? Corals mean marine life and diversity. That means theres a beautiful seascape below the waters. And even if youre not into that sort of thing then just wear slippers or booties. There are also powdery and sandy beaches out there where the feet feel right at home.

The beach is an escape, a place to recharge, a place to bond with your family and friends. There are no billboards, no dangling electric wires, no traffic to deal with, no malls, etc on the beach. Its you, your family and friends lapping up what mother nature serves up for you. Stories are livelier. Laughter is longer. 2 And yeah the scenery and vistas are something only mother nature can paint.

Its a feast for the senses....the cool water, if you're lucky then the water is crystal clear, the nice breeze, shade from palm or coconut trees, the feel of sand under your feet, the light glistening on the water and magical sunsets. All without the chaos that city life normally brings. Imagine being sorrounded by all this while you are with you loved ones and friends. Easy dress code, easy lifestyle, no clock or time to chase, fun and memories all around. Nothing could be better really. Cant imagine how S&R or Lucky mall binondo can even hold a candle to this.

I actually feel bad and sorry for you that you find no joy in the beach. It is like you are writing off one of nature's great and simple pleasures because of your anxieties and insecutity. Imagine that? Its summer time in a country blessed by gorgeous beaches...many within driving distance. There are family and friends and experiences who are heeding the siren call of the ocean. And you have written them all of within your head. You really are boxing your life in.... and the box is getting smaller.

Same thoughts. Extra na lang magandang tanawin. Ang babaw at narcissitic ng tao na pagpapakita lang ng katawan gusto. Kawawa mga ganyan mag-isip. May litik na yan.

Bro this sums it up pretty well.

Me myself don’t have a gym fit bod, to add I don’t even know how to swim.

Still I enjoy going and look forward coming back.

If one will find all the risk could happen, how can you live?

I'm anxious and insecure just because I don't like the beach? Can't it be that I'm just not a beach person that's why I don't understand people who love it?

My paternal Lola loves the beach and as a child I hated it when we would have overnight stays. She said she likes it because she thinks the salt water has healing properties

I like nature, just not the beach. I'm scared of natural bodies of water. I want to see Batanes. I want to see Sagada. The mountains seem enjoyable. But honestly I'm not a travel person. It's nice but I don't look for it unlike most people.

I'm not alone pala I don't understand talaga yung mga sarap na sarap sa beach. When I became an adult, pag may beach outing kami I don't go anymore And my Lola doesn't force me because she knows she can't.

BTW nung 10 or 11 ako, I got sunburned so bad nagtubig yung arms ko. It was torture.
