I just got news that there is a possibility that our VP will be redundant and she will be replaced by someone NONE of us like

There's just too much politics in this organization! The new head does not like our current VP so he wants to replace her with someone that he likes!

My BFF is so mean because she told me "tapos na maliligayang araw niyong mga kampon ni VP name" I am so stressed out because this totally changes my career plans. I don't want to report to that person they are saying might replace her Maybe I will ask to be "demoted" and reported to an AVP instead of a VP

I'll definitely be a casualty Even my friend told me that our VP really takes care of me and protects me. His career will also suffer like mine if our current VP leaves the company. I'll probably just resign as my Mom wants I'm just working here because I love my bosses but the pay is not good.

I don't know, maybe I will talk to my German boss and ask him if he can find a way to try to get my back in HQ. BUT I definitely do not want to report to that person they say will replace our current VP

It has nothing to do with me. I don't think anyone will report me, and if they did, they have to report to our current VP. She's the highest ranking in our department here in Manila and she is aware of my odd working hours.
