Speaking of TIP, maraming natatangal sa trabaho dahil jan. Sa City of dreams- table game employees can accept tip pero derecho sa tip box nila. Wala silang nai uuwi ni kusing. My GF's pit alone can get as much as 2million pesos worth of tip a day. San napupunta yung tip? Yun ang di nila alam. Others are tempted to receive the tip after work. Such a risk, if get caught- you're out of the roster.

i know someone na nadale diyan. This well-meaning VIP forced him to accept a tip, e interpreter lang naman siya. Dunno how his manager got wind of it, natanggal sa trabaho.

Their F & B and Marketing department get their own share sa tip, why can't they? They worked for it. Isa pa, naka saad yun sa pinirmahang kontrata nila. Well-well...

OB, pag nagpunta ka nga landmark trinoma, post ka para makasabay ako sayo, at mabigyan mo ko ng mga magagandang advise at insights. Tapos kain tayo ng pizza sa s&r sa 2nd floor.

and the table was nice and clean because the cleaner in charge was efficient.
that waiter was all smiles because he knows the rest of the crew was behind his smile.

and the guard outside? i'm thankful his assistance prevented me from bumping the poste or the adjacent car, and his signaling prevented traffic from bumping into me as i exited the parking.
i heard that in some places, ka-hati ang guard, kahit partial lang. but abut na rin ako. collision repair is more expensive than any food i can think of right now.
Makes a lot of sense, thanks for that perspective and will keep that in mind

Sir, if you really want to give something to a particular staff, put it in an envelope, write a note and put his name. With this, he/she is safe on being charge of tip pocketing, bigyan mo na rin yung mga kasama at the same time. Para pag balik mo, kahit wala yung peyboritong staff eh, vip treatment ka pa rin. Kilala ka na rin ng buong establishment.

Every morning, there's a big flock of pigeons that like to roost at one of the houses across the street from ours. Occasionally, they fly over and roost at our house. I would normally pick up a tiny rock just small enough so it doesn't crack a roof tile and toss it at the pigeons. The whole flock would fly off back to the other house.

Sometimes, I would pretend to throw and they'd fly off. But, the next time I pretended to throw, they remember what I did last time and continued roosting on the roof. Then I'd have to throw a rock for real.

Just wondering. I heard the wife mention laundry, and then alipunga while talking to her friend. She gestured like she was throwing up. Then she looked at me.

I guess they were talking about us husbands.
