    Update Client Information | BPI

have you seen this guys? seryoso ba to?

"Previously, pursuant to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Circular 706 which required financial institutions to regularly update its customer information records, BPI requested all clients to update their account information."

"If you are unable to update your account information on or before August 31, 2016, your transactions can only be serviced over-the-counter of our branches. You will not be able to access your account via any of BPI’s 24/7 electronic channels (i.e. ATM , Online and Mobile) until you have submitted your CIS and ID. "

this announcement was released last Fri, Aug 26th.
It says branch advisory, maybe it branch specific?

    BSP rule yun.

No choice but to comply. Since madameng stubborn account holders na ayaw mag comply instantly. Use the iron fist!

my non-bpi bank advises me to update, regularly.
matagal na ito sa bangko ko.

i just noticed. the bpi circular has a 2015 year date sa ibaba...
perhaps it is a re-iteration or a re-reminder of the 2015 circular? marami pa siguro ang hindi nag-update ?

Pinatawan kasi ng Bangko Sentral ng malaking penalty ($$$$$$) ang BPI for not religiously updating their client info.

How many clients do you think BPI have? How many clients do they see face to face everyday in this age of online banking, to "force" them to update their info?

So how can they, or any bank, comply 100% to this BS BSP ruling? Daming delinquent at MIA na mga clients kaya, sa isang branch pa lang yan ha.

Blame the Bangladesh Hacking Scandal for this "biglaang paghihigpit" and tighter enforcement. Repercussions, collateral damage, call it whatever you like, tayong matitino nag-su-suffer sa kalokohan ng ibang tao.

It's been exactly two years since the family and I moved back to Arizona after six years in New York state. We had our household stuff shipped earlier while we did some last minute sightseeing before driving the 3500 mile route. It was the wife's first road trip where she actually drove the whole route.

Now that I look back.... I really shouldn't have weighed down the car that much. But, the wife insisted.

it says if you've updated your info this year, no need to update. Kaya di ka affected.
