Black Snakes are okay. I used to keep one as a pet. Rats are their food.

That's what my Aunt said. She strikes it with a shovel. My Uncle uses a bb gun. I told them I will FAINT if I saw a snake.

Now I have to open doors carefully because they crawl between door frames pala! OMG!!! I can't wait to go back to Chicago. My Uncle was laughing and said I can't be a country girl - I 101% agree!

C'mon. It's just like living in the rural areas of the PH. I used to see green rice snakes seek shelter at the front porch during the rainy season. One time, I was taking a shower at my wife's place. I glanced sideways and there was this huge spider just watching me. It was a big as my hand. So long as it didn't move? I didn't care. It ate bugs. So, I left it alone.

I lived in the city all my life. We had a snake once outside our home and even our tauhan was so scared when he was trying to kill it LOL. That was the first and last time in my entire life that I saw a snake OUTSIDE our home

Gee. You'll hate Arizona then. We get coyotes and javelinas at night here. At the mountains, we get mountain lions, bobcats, even (I think) Mexican jaguars. We also have the poisonous Gila Monster, rattlesnakes, scorpions, deadly black widow spiders. The most harmless critter we have here is the tarantula. The wife is scared of them though. I see tarantulas regularly in our yard.

I usually get a broom to scoop up the tarantula and toss it in our neighbor's yard. He He.



Oh. Add also fire ants and Africanized killer bees.
