    After the salt beds, there were a couple of beach resorts. Iirc.

    Yep one of the subdivisions nearby was a beach resort before, according to one of my Titas.

    My Lolo and my Dad grew up there and it was from my dad whom I learned about the salt beds. I've met some other families who also grew up and had their compunds in the area, all pre war too.
