Salient Features of the HGC Charter

Renaming the Corporation. The Home Insurance and Guaranty Corporation is renamed as Home Guaranty Corporation (HGC)

Extending Life Term. The HGC is given a fresh 50-year mandate until 2050 to operate a stronger and improved credit guaranty system for housing.

Expanding Capital Base. One of the law's enabling provisions is the increase in the Corporation's authorized capital stock from P2.5 to P 50 billion.

Recomposition of the Governing Board. Two (2) members are added to the HGC Board - the Secretary of Finance, who will act a Chairman of the Board, and Director-General of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

Amending Corporate Functions. The HGC is relieved from a peripheral task involving registration, supervision and adjudication of Homeowners' Associations. This function has been transferred to the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB).

The Corporation is vested with a new mandate providing for its active involvement in the development of the secondary market for housing mortgages, bonds, debentures, notes and securities.
Bro, thanks for the correction. We used to file the complaints with HIGC before.

Medyo lihis na sa topic ito. There will be an election this year and we will see na lang how it goes. Its no problem for me to pay just as long I see actions.

Going back, lang so there is no law na pwede kang bawalan entry sa place of residence. Correct?
