I guess there are indeed a few good men around. Siguro depende din sa lugar, baka dyan sa MM eh ganyan na tao, la na nagmamalasakit.

I was trained kasi as first aider and a red cross volunteer kaya kung may mag-meron man na magsabi na huwag ako makialam, at least mababara ko, "Kung kayo walang paki kasi walang kayong alam, ako meron! So shut the f*^k-up and call an ambulance!".

in this kind of situations. help agad. wala nang 2nd thoughts dapat. cover up wounds. stop more bleeding.

kung gusto ka kasuhan? let them. maraming ba back up sayo.

hay. tapos na ang panahon ng mga bayani. "Bayani" word should be erased from the tagalog dictionary.

tama lang ginawa ng mga gwardiya and ng mga pulis. that's the SOP. kahit nga student nurses even in higher years pag nandun sa ganung situation ay manonood lang din mga yan. It's all being on the safe side.

really? sop yan? even check for pulse wala?

diba dapat they should be checking for pulse muna for both victims.

buhay pa un isang bata. gumagalaw pa. that's a sign of life.

guys, imagine nyo nalang kayo un victim... nabaril ka... gumagalaw ka pa... hindi kana makapag salita dahil nawala na speech functions mo... namimilipit ka sa sakit... trying your best just to move a bit to show bystanders that you are still alive.. bleeding heavily...

I've climbed up on top of buildings to help firemen. I got a few whacks (and ten stitches) to the head because I didn't run away from a fight when a friend was on the ground and we were outnumbered.I helped strap a patient down in the ER one time when I walked in during the graveyard shift and the only personnel there were interns too timid to get their hands on a "biter" squirting blood from a cut jugular with his intestines hanging out. Less importantly, but more enjoyable, I once carried a female classmate who'd stepped on a sea urchin a hundred meters over sharp coral back to beach ( ). Maybe over the years, I've gotten more cautious, because now I have a family, but there are some things that you don't just let slide. And a dying person is one of them.
same thoughts here..... I have been exposed with emergencies like that.... including a family that was massacred....

My observation..... Most people are afraid to get involved or maybe lack the presence of mind to help..... natutulala sila.... kaya bilib ako dun sa ibang kasama ko kahit bata.... meron talagang tao buo ang loob lalo na sa pagsaklolo sa mga sugatan....

there are indeed only a few good men....what we have is a population of self serving individuals.....rich or poor...there's no difference....

I've talked to all the guards that we're assigned to us (every 5 months palit yan) and I always ask them if they have proper first aid training and fire drill/emergency seminar at SOP yan dapat.

So baka iba-iba SOP ng mga sekyu. Meron yung be safe, meron yung do what is right, just be ready for some hassle ika nga. But doing right is never below fear. That's BS!

Kung gusto may paraan, kung ayaw may dahilan!
