Boybi, nice call pare, you've handled it really well...me mga similar ding situation ako na naranasan and based on my experience eh the best way is to tell them personally with matching kumustahan/dinner/lunch or just a cup of coffee so that they can see that you are sincere on what you are saying and vice-versa.....and sometimes me nawo-workout pa kayo na both beneficial sa inyong dalawa.....never na sa inuman ko ginawa yang mga ganyan....me kaibigan kasi ako na niyaya nyang mag-beerhouse muna yung kumpare nya bago nya sabihin na di uubra yung proposal nung isa....ayun, nagsuntukan ang kinalabasan....hehehe
