Nung early 2000s kasi I think early adapters pa mga nasa forum at medyo mas exclusive pa. I didn't even know forums existed until Tsikot, though I had internet na in the mid 90s. Kaya curious ako sa 2002 members [emoji5]

late 90's may forums na. pinaka naalala ko dati eh yung BuyNCell, anything about cellphones. pero mostly mga nag buy and sell ng phones and accessories. mga car forums parang nag start early 2000's, naalala ko na member ako eh kotse, tsikot, GT, KAC, HCP. nag peak nga late 2000's, madaming naging car clubs tapos may mga GEBs pa. pero nung sumikat FB page, unti unti nawawala mga forums.

I remember yung buy and sell na dyaryo. Free ads and then I would read the swap section for entertainment (some swaps were ridiculous) FB killed forums talaga I used to lurk in another Philippine forum parang namatay na rin (Philmug)

BTT: I just realized that one of my longest constants is an Atenean tsikoteer I have not met! (almost 10 yrs!) I am not even sure if he visits the board pa - but he also finds kags annoying He gave me a puppy, but sadly she died Akala ko nga siya magdadala e driver pala niya. So aloof and mysterious and I am drawn to people like this like a moth to a flame! Muntik na rin pala kami magka sira because of crush LOL! (He was all I talked about)

Sa FB kasi bukod sa mabilis ang sagutan, frowned upon din ang anonymity. Kaya kadalasan bawal ang mga fake/troll accounts. Dito naman sa mga forums, well guarded ang personal information. Halos lahat ng pagkakakilanlan nakatago hangga't maaari.

Yung P60/hr it was also line (diba wala parang prepaid internet in the mid 90s) Basta more or less ganun ang rate. I forgot how many hrs plan ko pero 1 hr per day lang budget ko sa sarili ko hahaha! Good thing I had friends who gave me hack accounts (I know it's bad) yung mga naka unlimited na sky internet

That is why I prefer forums because of anonymity. I never expressed my opinion of FB public pages. Sa FB lumabas talaga sama ng ugali ng mga tao esp the Dutertards who wish other people dead or get raped pero sa profile pages may pamilya sila at bible verses pa.
