For small holes you may use PU foam filler, they are easy to work on. You may also use the cheapest silicon sealant.

This is what I used on my big a/c wall, fortunately for me, come replacement time late last year, I tore it down myself with ease.

We use this type of PU foam spray for the wood jamb-concrete gaps. Good insulator & very stable adhesive, yet easy to remove. It's multi-purpose.

^ That and those GreatStuff brand available at Ace and Handyman even online.

If not available i'd use the generik silicon sealant less than P50 from the hardware, just buy a good caulking gun i bet that should last forever in your hole/gap sealing needs. Downside of silicon is the vinegar/ammonium smell while curing.
