    of course, it'll still be on simpler devices like outboard motors, lawnmowers, chainsaws, bikes(although me EFI'd na rin di ba?)...pero after a few years, puro EFI na kaya lahat ng kotse natin?

    the corolla XL was the last car on sale that had a carb...and it's disappeared from the Toyota CommonWealth pricelist na...

    i have no idea kung wala na rin sa mitsubishi ang carb?
    so far, yung auto-choke pa lang ang problema ko kaya manual choke switch ang ginagamit ko kapag malamig ang makina ng lancer ko.

    I think the Norkis Legacy and Suzuki Super Carry are still carburated.

    Due to the problems with the long term viability of EFI units and parts availability, I think carburators are still going to be around for a while, but only in simple gadgets.
    Still, with tougher emissions laws, and with more and more platform sharing, and electronics becoming more reliable (in Japs, in Euros, they're getting worse! :lol: ), I don't think mass market consumer vehicles are ever going to go back.

    Haha. Yan din sasabihin ko M54! So far wala pang nakakaimbento ng EFI for Nitro RC engines.

    hindi na siguro, diba wala ng carburetor na kotse now a days!

    for my old car (1967 model pa hehehe), i'll still stick with a good old carburetor! in fact, i just bought a new carb for this car, a holley 4 barrel carburetor - easy to tune and maintain.

    wala pa rin bang bike na naka EFI? kasi ung mga vtec meron na diba.

    most liter bikes (R1, CBR1000RR, GSXR) today efi na din. pero di advisable dahil sa ulan mabilis masisira computer box in motorbikes mas advisable pa rin carb.

    siyempre sa car efi talaga. sa big bikes lang sinasabi ko kasi exposed halos lahat ng parts. kaya dapat waterproof lahat.

is there a future for the carburetor?
