kung gusto mo maka-experience kagad ng ganito, sumakay ka sa asian spirit

one time we went to boracay, 25 mins in the air, pilot announced we're experiencing technical difficulties and had to go back to domestic.

all fell silent and holding their breaths 'til we landed roughly sa domestic. 2 hours later, we boarded another replacement asian spirit (same model)

sa asian spirit, napakalakas ng ingay ng engine as in para kang nakakarinig ng nag-drill ng semento all throughout the trip. kabahan ka pag nawala yun sound na yun

Ako naman nakasakay sa PAL na yung MLA to SFO kinuha ng flying time na 2 hours less than scheduled kaya kahit late umalis, early kami dumating.

Minsan lang natakot me kasi yung B737 namin sa kalibo, ayaw pumihit nung landing gear pero mga 30 minutes tina-try nung pilot ipihit -- tipong igo-go pa kung maayos niya by brute force -- buti di naayos.

It's our preventive maintenance that needs more work, IMO.
That happens when the plane isn't completely loaded with cargo and it catches a tail wind at about 35K feet. That happens to flights from Japan to SFO alot and planes arrive 1-2 hours earlier than scheduled..

That's true. On the other hand if you're going the other way, arrival times may be 1-2 hours longer. That jet stream also makes for a very bumpy ride.

The next time I visit RP, I'll take the US-Hawaii-RP route. It should be much less bumpy.

At least mas comfortable ang airline industry natin kaysa Indonesia na sunod sunod na ang air disaster doon.

I do hope na all of these local carriers will never sacrifice preventive maintenance for profit.

When I took the Asian Spirit from Manila to San Jose, Antique, 30 minutes after I disembarked hindi pa ako makarinig.

Ang experience ko naman sa Asian Spirit, while waiting for the airplane to taxi, ang init sa loob ng cabin.

Pag landing naman sa Caticlan, isang malakas ng BOG! ang naranasan namin. Very hard ang landing.

Coming back naman, while reducing altitude, biglang init ng cabin sabay choppy ang decent. Ayun, ang daming sumuka ng sabay sabay. Nilabas nila ang snacks at pomelo juice na na serve earlier. :puke1:

when you fly with asian spirit, you'll land with your spirit; when you fly with cebu pacific, you'll land in the pacific
