It takes at least 3 years ata bago ka maging licence taxi driver.

I did not mention it was applicable to Philippine scenario that all Taxi's are required to have metered receipts. Don't get me out of context. I am in favor of having all taxi's be issuing receipts because we passengers needs it BUT I am AGAINST Metered receipts dahil wrong timing due to present crisis.

    sir doublea,

di naman ikaw ang sinagot ko e, i was just adding to your post about taxis in singapore. sabi ko ok lang yung sa singapore kasi mataas ang taxi fare dun. di ko po naman sinabi na mali yung post nyo o mali yung reasoning nyo. sabi ko lang payag ako na bumili ng meter na may receipt kung ang flag down at rate per distance traveled e gaya ng sa singapore. sorry po kung di malinaw post ko. don't get me out of context din sana ehehehe! bawal away dito ma-ban tayo sige ka

    Peace

I had a neighbor that has Printing Press before and sold it last year and bought 10 old taxis.Sa araw-araw kong nadadaanan, lagi may nire-repair na taxi.Siguro instead of getting new Taxi cars and the burden of applying for new franchise, he chose to buys old taxi with line. Mas marami nga naman Taxi niya kapag luma binili niya. I don't know if he made a good decision of getting a new taxis or an old ones with line.

im in favor of taxi's issuing receipts to passengers......

this will give protection to the riding public and also weed out illegal taxi cabs with expired LTO franchise giving unfair competition with legitimate taxi cabs.....

the passengers,drivers/taxi operators and government would be benefit from this ruling.....

another benefit, baka malalaki kumpanya ang humawak sa taxi operation coz may sistema na, di resibo. mas ma-professionalize both the system and the drivers. and kung companies ang humawak, baka maging standard yun cb radio sa taxi just like sa ibang bansa. sa mga establishments nga kaya nila lisensyahan ang mga security personnel ng radio, what more sa mga taxis as deterrent na din sa crime
