And today's MRT woes...
Another glitch hits MRT system early Thursday morning
April 30, 2015 7:28am
(Updated 8:35 a.m.) Another glitch in the Metro Rail Transit (MRT3) system early Thursday morning inconvenienced passengers rushing for work at past 6 a.m.
Passengers queuing for a ride at the northbound platform of the Guadalupe Station had to scramble in a rush to get a refund of their tickets, after an announcement through the MRT's public address system said that northbound trips would only be until the Shaw Boulevard Station.
"Sorry for the inconvenience, MRT northbound trips would only be until the Shaw station due to technical problem," the announcement said.

Only 8 MRT trains starting Monday
INQUIRER.net 10:14 AM | Monday, May 11th, 2015
If you’re among the millions of commuters riding the defective MRT trains, expect a longer journey in the next few weeks.
MRT has eight trains available for service for the time being, a report from Erwin Aguilon of Radyo INQUIRER said early Monday.
The report said according to the Traffic Control Center of the MRT, from a regular train count of more than 20 trains, only eight trains will be accessible at this time.
Known for trains getting out of control or stopping abruptly in the middle of a trip, the MRT management hasn’t issued a statement when the other trains will function. Sheen Alfred Limbo, Trainee, INQUIRER.net/ TVJ

Goverment can't even get rid of the current sub par maintenance provider. Since no other service/maintenance providers showed up to bid for short term contracts, So Abaya thinks of another brilliant plan: pag hatian na lang yung services contracts. Sino linoloko ni Abaya?
